Usher Raymond has been known for creating and producing catchy tunes around the world. And this busy schedule may have been rendering him to be negligent with caring for his young tots.
The singer has recently made the news, not for his Grammy winning music, but due to an incident involving his son, Usher Raymond V.
His son was allegedly playing in their pool while Usher was out of town for business. The young boy accidentally got caught in the pool drainage causing him to get sucked down and almost at the brink of death.
Luckily, a contractor working nearby was able to pull him free and performed CPR successfully. Paramedics arrived at the seen to find the child “conscious, alert and breathing.” He was then admitted in a nearby hospital for further evaluation of his condition.
This issue was brought to court because Usher’s ex-wife Tameka Foster Raymond, filed a complaint and asked for custody of the young boys. He cited that Usher is not always around to tend to the kids and he often employs the help of his relatives like his aunt to take care of them. Ms Raymond claims that they are not capable of taking care of her children.
However, the judge ruled in favor of Usher, saying that Miss Tameka has very high standards for child caretakers and the incident was purely an accident.
